Thank you for your interest in Calvary Murrieta Christian School (CMCS)! We are honored that you are considering our school for your child’s education. At CMCS, our mission is to provide a Christ-centered, high-quality education that equips students spiritually, academically, and socially to impact the world for Christ.
Our admissions process is designed to ensure that each student will thrive in our school environment, both academically and spiritually.
The Application Process
Complete the Online Application and submit the $100 non-refundable application fee. Each student requires a separate application and fee.
Please be prepared to upload the following documents:
- Birth certificate
- Immunization records
- Current and previous year’s report card
Important:
- All students, including incoming Kindergartners, must have up-to-date immunizations and birth certificates on file before the school year begins.
- All 1st grade students must have a physical on file. A 30-day grace period is allowed for transfer students if records are pending.
Grades 1–8: After the online application is complete, our Admissions Team will schedule an on-campus entrance assessment.
- Kindergarten: Prospective students meet with our Kindergarten team for an interview and readiness assessment, including fine motor skills, early literacy, and number recognition.
Admission decisions are based on entrance assessment results, class availability, academic progress, and alignment with CMCS values.
If accepted, families will receive a Final Enrollment Steps email to complete registration. This includes paying the SEF and registration fee, selecting a tuition plan, and submitting additional forms.
Once enrollment is complete, you’ll receive a Welcome Letter with your child’s start date, teacher assignment, and important next steps.
Additional Acceptance Requirements
At CMCS, education is not only about academics but also about faith and character. Families seeking admission should share our commitment to Christ-centered values.
Prospective students should demonstrate a genuine desire to grow in their Christian faith. We expect at least one parent and their children to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
At least one parent must be born again and regularly attending a Bible-teaching church (3–4 times per month).
- 7th and 8th grade students must also be born again and faithfully attending church.
- Regular church attendance is essential as home, church, and schoolwork together to build Christian character and lifestyle.
Calvary Murrieta Christian Schools admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to students. We do not discriminate in the administration of educational or admissions policies because we acknowledge that there is no partiality with God (Romans 2:11).
It is our mission to serve families who share our Christian and educational values, and whose attitudes contribute to a positive, Spirit-filled school community.
